Terms

The terms for using Docket, made by Jane Isis LLC. Effective October 15, 2026.

The service

Docket is software a firm uses to run its work. A firm that signs up (or is given a demo) agrees to these terms for itself and the people it adds.

Accounts

The firm decides who uses Docket and what each person can do. Each person keeps their sign-in to themselves and tells the firm if it may have been misused.

The firm's information

What the firm keeps in Docket stays the firm's. We use it only to provide the service, as our privacy policy says.

Use

Don't use Docket to break the law, to harm others, or to get at information that isn't yours. Work the product's AI drafts or suggests is for the firm's people to check before they rely on it.

Fees

Plans and prices are on the pricing page, paid by card through Stripe. A subscription can be cancelled in the app, under Admin → Plan and billing.

Text messages

Docket texts a firm's people about their work: approvals waiting for them, their automated tasks waiting or failing, and a morning summary of their dates. A person gets texts only after they enter their own mobile number and agree in the app, under Profile → Texts, where they also choose which messages they get. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help; each person can also change or withdraw their agreement in the app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Ending

A firm can stop using Docket at any time. We may suspend a firm that breaks these terms or doesn't pay.

Warranty and liability

Docket is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Jane Isis LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to what the firm paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about Docketis to be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may change these terms; we will say so here, with the new effective date, before they apply.
